Welcome at PROBOARDER
Our School for Snowkiting & Winging at Passo Resia
We are your partner for a safe and successful experience in the world of board and kite sports!
We are a VDWS affiliated school providing snowkite and wing lessons for all levels every windy day from January to March. On the lakes you can expect lots of space, boundless vastness and a unique panorama. With our team of qualified instructors, you will easily learn how to ride in safety, while still having a lot of fun. In short, perfect conditions for snowkiting awaiting you.
Our Spot
The Pass Resia is located in the border triangle between Italy, Austria and Switzerland. The heart of the lake plateau is the Lake Reschen, which above all is known for its unique panorama and the church tower jutting out of the lake. Due to the steep mountains which border the Pass Resia, mostly the wind from north is blowing through to the south. This leads to relatively stable wind conditions.
Our courses take place either at “Fischerhäuser” on Lake Haider (“Lago della Muta”) or at our summer school in Graun on Lake Reschen. Here, depending on the conditions, we move a little to the north in the direction of the church tower or to the south (“Steinelager”). You can get an insight into our area on the webcam.
Our Courses
Our snowkite and wing courses are suitable for skiers and snowboarders. During your course you will be provided with the necessary kite or wing material and you just need to bring your own skis/snowboard and boots. We use seasonal new material from Duotone and Flysurfer (tube and soft kites). All our courses are led by well-trained, licensed instructors and usually take place in groups of two to four people. It is also possible to book private lessons or an instructor for two people. Should you not be able to complete your course on the planned days due to weather conditions, you can complete the missing lessons on another date (wind guarantee!). At the end of your course you will receive your own licence, which certifies the level you have reached.
