Learn with PROBOARDER
No more queuing for lifts, but cruising over snowfields without waiting and doing fancy jumps – snowkiting allows you all this and much more! You let yourself be pulled over snow and ice by a kite on snowboard or skis purely by the power of the wind. Generally, you don’t need any previous experience, but it is an advantage if you are already fairly confident on a snowboard or skis.
Our course options
In our trial course of 4 hours (1 day) you will learn the basics of kiteboarding such as steering and relaunching the kite. You start your first attempts with skis or snowboard and can find out if snowkiting is fun for you.
The 8-hour beginner course (2 days) builds on the learning content of the taster course. While we concentrate more on the handling of the kite during the first hours, we now deepen the skills on boards and skis.
*Off to the Mountain Option
You would like to try snowkiting in the morning and whizz down the slopes in the afternoon? Depending on demand, we also offer a 3-hour trial course. This only takes place in the morning and is a shortened version of the trial course. Only your practice time on the board or on skis is correspondingly shorter.
From beginner to independent snowkiter! During the 10-hour basic course (3 days) you will not only learn how to ride to and fro, but also how to safely determine your direction, first steering manoeuvres and, if necessary, small jumps.
In the intermediate or advanced course, we pick you up at your current level of knowledge and practice with you where you left off last time. You just need to be no longer a beginner and remember all safety-relevant aspects.
The snow transition courses we offer for those who have already gained experience in kitesurfing or land kiteboarding. It won’t take long until you can kite independently on the snow. The Snow Transition also makes sense as a private lesson.
Try a Private kitesurfing lesson and learn at your own speed with the full attention of your own instructor! You’ll be a confident snowkiter in no time! You can also book one instructor for two persons.

Our courses take place in groups of two to four people (except for private coaching, of course). For intermediate and advanced courses, we naturally make sure that all participants are more or less at the same level. Since our group lessons are mostly held in German we recommend booking a private lesson or bringing a group of friends with you to get the most out of your lesson. The necessary kite material, i.e. kite, bar and harness, will be provided by us during the course. You need to bring your own snowboard or skis and appropriate boots. You should also wear warm and flexible snow clothing, including gloves, hat and ski or sunglasses. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen for your face and a fortifying packed lunch.
